Burning questions that people asked Light Essentials.

Any order placed before 4:00 p.m. CET will be handled the same day.

The shipping time depends on the country you live in and takes mostly 3 to 9 days. We work with international shipping companies like GLS, UPS, DHL, TNT and FedEx. As soon as your parcel has been picked up at our warehouse, you will receive the tracking code by e-mail so you can follow your parcel from start to end.

  • Netherlands: 1 day
  • Belgium: 1-2 days
  • Germany: 2-3 days
  • European Union: 4-5 days
  • Outside European Union: 5-6 days
  • Rest of the world: 7-9 days

When you'd like to return a product, please contact us prior to returning it. We need to know what it's about and if asked, we'd like to co-think about an alternative.

Cables are cut to size for you and therefore these cannot be returned. An exception can be made when the cable doesn’t suit your expectations with regard to the quality. There must be a clear damage to the cord, which is due to Light Essentials. If you wish to claim on our warranty, we ask you to contact us by sending a message with good, clear images of the damage to info@lightessentials.com.

Only directly after placing it. You can cancel or change your order by sending an e-mail to info@lightessentials.com or by contacting us over the phone: (0031) 10 7370991. Please do this as soon as you've completed your order so that our warehouse can still make changes for you. Keep your order number close at hand when doing this.

It’s easier than it seems: at “quantity” you fill in the number of meters preferred. This is the total of meters you will receive in one piece. Most of our colored cables have a maximum length of 100 meter in one piece. But there are exceptions, like the plastic cords and some twisted (“Torcido”) cables. When the maximum number of meters to order is more than 100 meters, it will always be mentioned on the product page.

On incandescent, carbon filament and halogen bulbs

Of course, we do offer a warranty on lamps that do not work upon or are broken on arrival. The expected lifetime of a carbon filament lamp and a bulb is usually 1000 hours, the lifetime of halogen lamps is 1.500 hours, but there is always the possibility that the lamp stops burning earlier. The life of filament lamps depends on several factors, such as environmental vibrations and switching the lamp on and off.

Therefore, there is no warranty on our carbon filaments, incandescent and halogen lamps.

On energy saving lamps (CFL)

For CFL we offer a warranty of one month after billing. We must be notified within 30 days about a defect in the performance of the lamp.

On LED bulbs

For LED we offer a warranty as described in our Terms and Conditions

Unfortunately, paying afterwards is only possible for customers in the Netherlands.

If you're a retailer you can opt for invoice. Prior to this, fill in your company details and make sure that you insert your purchase order number. This makes managing your personal administration easier.

When the grand total of your order is over €99,- we offer free shipping!

Otherwise, the shipping costs depend on the country you live in. When you place your order, the site automatically shows your shipping costs.
